Job Opportunity: Broadcast Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Broadcast Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our clients' global event production fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development and execution of proactive maintenance projects to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Resolution and root cause analysis of technical issues escalated from Tier 3 Incident/Response & Tier 2 Site Operations Teams.
  • Identification of patterns in technical issues and development of projects to deploy solutions globally.
  • Utilization of scripting to develop efficient methods to configure and deploy hardware and software infrastructures.
  • Coordination with partner services, client teams, and subject matter experts to provide global support.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency with Unix, Windows & Mac based operating systems.
  • Proficiency with online & event video production technologies, including video encoding technology for live streaming and Ross video switchers or other industry standard solutions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise level network switches & routers, including IT & media network protocols, VLAN, QoS, IGMP Snooping.
  • Knowledge of advanced signal flow for audio, video, lighting, network and control.
  • Ability to create detailed documentation & project proposals.
  • Flexibility to continuously teach and be taught new technologies and workflows.
