Enterprise Observability Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Observability Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable observability solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of custom collectors, exporters, and automation tools using Python.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build enterprise-grade observability solutions using OpenTelemetry (metrics, logs, traces).
  • Develop custom collectors, exporters, and automation tools using Python.
  • Implement dashboards & visualizations in Grafana and optimize logging in Splunk.
  • Manage event streaming pipelines with Kafka.
  • Deploy and monitor observability components in Kubernetes.
  • Build & optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, Argo CD).
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in IT industry.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, AWS, Splunk, Ansible, Terraform.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Shell, Groovy, YAML (Flask/Node.js a plus).
  • Knowledge of databases (Postgres, MySQL, InfluxDB, Prometheus, RDS, NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with storage systems (NetApp, VMAX, Pure, PMAX).
  • Strong exposure to monitoring tools – Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, ELK, etc.
