Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned cyber threat intelligence professional to spearhead our threat analysis efforts.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in analyzing and communicating cyber threats, leveraging frameworks such as the Kill Chain, Diamond Model, and MITRE Telecommunication CK.

A successful candidate will be able to develop specific expertise, identify patterns of complex threat actor behavior, and effectively communicate an understanding of current and developing cyber threats.

The ideal candidate will have experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources, as well as strong knowledge of networking concepts, threat intelligence platforms, enterprise logging SIEM solutions, security orchestration tools, and OSINT aggregators.

Familiarity with the Mitre Telecommunication CK Framework, Recorded Future, RiskIQ, IDS IPS, load balancing technologies, cloud solutions, malware analysis, and network-based forensics tools is required.

Prior experience with SANS GCTI Certification, STIX TAXII, and cyber threats targeting the US financial sector, Nation States, Cybercrime, Hacktivists, etc., is preferred.

  • Identify targeted intrusion cyber threats, trends, and new developments by analyzing internal and external data.
  • Fill intelligence gaps through requests for information.
  • Develop analytical threat models affecting the financial services industry.
  • Provide briefings for various levels of internal customers as requested.
  • Maintain close coordination with functional senior leaders to map threat intelligence analysis and products to prioritized corporate assets and risks.
  • Collaborate with external entities such as ISACs, law enforcement, the intelligence community, and government agencies.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate will provide finished intelligence analysis to internal customers through written reporting and work with business units to develop security priorities.
