Senior .NET Developer

Role Summary & Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our team. As a key member of our technology function, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using .NET and RDBMS databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and develop software solutions aligned to business goals.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with the team.
  • Represent the team on major technical upgrades and large technical efforts.
  • Have excellent programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Have hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies.
  • Manage efforts within the agile team and outside agile to ensure tasks are completed successfully by deadlines.
  • Design and develop enterprise integration services platforms using enterprise cloud technologies and web frameworks.
  • Understand user needs and provide options for solutions. Anticipate critical issues and risks; take responsibility for resolution across the organization.
  • Provide advanced technical expertise in designing, estimating, and developing software applications to project schedule.
  • Retain accountability for the overall delivery.

Core/Must have skills

Minimum 10+ years' experience in developing enterprise applications in .NET.

Minimum 6+ years' experience on RDBMS databases like Sybase, Oracle, and SQL Server with data modeling.

Must have extensively worked on performance-critical, low-latency, and high-throughput, multithreaded, event-driven systems developed using Core .NET frameworks and able to demonstrate the same through modern coding practices.

Experience with VB6 and VBA is a must; hands-on development experience in developing and maintaining end-to-end enterprise applications, working closely with product and dev teams across geographical locations.

Experience on MS Access Macros is a must; should have a very good understanding of approaches to architecture – design patterns, systems integration approaches, infrastructural dependencies.

Good to have skills

Experience with public cloud like Azure and AWS is a plus.

Experience in messaging frameworks like Kafka/MQ/JMS is a plus.

Exposure to Java at a high level is a plus.

Work Schedule

Hybrid (to be adjusted as per company policy).
