Job Description

Lead the financing strategy for solar projects, collaborating with banks and financial institutions to ensure timely financial closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project financing plans for solar projects of varying sizes.
  • Create detailed financial models, including IRR, DSCR, payback period, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Manage the debt raising process from preparation to negotiation and disbursement.
  • Build relationships with banks, investors, and credit rating agencies to secure project financing.
  • Review and negotiate loan agreements and financial covenants.
  • Coordinate financial due diligence and risk assessment with internal teams.
  • Monitor cash flow, loan compliance, and repayment schedules for ongoing projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA or equivalent with a strong financial background.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in project finance, preferably in renewable energy.
  • Proven track record in debt raising, project financing, and financial closures.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, credit appraisal, and risk analysis.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
