Job Title: Nautical Engineering Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nautical Engineering Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in naval architecture and experience in designing and developing digital solutions for the shipping industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing container ship operations data to identify areas for improvement
  • Conceptualizing and building digital twins of large container vessels
  • Developing fuel consumption curves and hydrodynamic performance models
  • Working with data scientists to build analytics solutions for vessel safety and efficiency
  • Collaborating with project teams to understand business requirements and develop actionable plans
  • Communicating complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and recommending best practices
Requirements:
  • 12-20 years of experience in naval architecture or a related field
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in conceptualizing and building digital twins and fuel consumption curves
  • Excellent knowledge of data science subjects, including simulation, optimization, and machine learning
  • Strong consulting skills, including leadership, problem-solving, and communication
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
