Job Title:

Sales Ops Capabilities/Optimization Associate Consultant/Sr. Associate Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Operations Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales planning and management, with experience in data analytics and visualization tools. The consultant will work closely with the GFA SFO Team Leader to provide critical capabilities for Lilly US Business Unit, including Field Call planning and Refinement, Dynamic targeting, Dynamic targeting diagnostics, insight generation, reporting, and feedback loops.

Key Responsibilities:

Collate and Analyze Data: The consultant will collate information regarding the Dynamic targeting diagnostic framework and purposes of analysis, conduct analysis, and draw insights on acceptance and execution of dynamic targeting suggestions.

Data Analysis and Visualization: The consultant will use new technology such as ML & Gen AI to analyze feedback surveys, other datasets, and draw actionable insights. The consultant will present these insights and results to key stakeholders for driving key business decisions.

Establish Key Performance Indicators: The consultant will establish what are some of the KPIs to measure adoption and usage of any new digital offering or a new engagement model. The consultant will brainstorm on the right performance tracking measures to check whether a new capability/offering is achieving the intended goals.

Leverage Statistical Analysis: The consultant will leverage statistical analyses such as regression, Anova, A/B testing, etc. to track KPIs, draw insights, and suggest course correction, if required.

Provide Insights and Recommendations: The consultant will use datasets such as field execution, tool activity, sales, surveys, etc. to track and tweak the deployed field engagement platforms. The consultant will provide inputs to optimize the field force effectiveness through processes such as Sales Force Sizing, Alignment Design, Personnel Placement, Targeting, Incentives, etc.

Create Models and Reports: The consultant will create models such as the customer behavior profile to support the sales teams to enhance and track performance of the field force against plans. The consultant will setup recurring Tableau, Power BI reports to measure key KPIs of field force execution.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree is required. Ensure compliance with company policies and any applicable state and federal marketing and promotion laws and regulations.

Additional Skills: BTech/ MBA with 4-6 years (Associate Consultant), 6-8 years (Sr. Associate Consultant) of experience in sales planning and management. Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (BI, Tableau), Javelin suite of products, CRM systems, Veeva, SQL, AWS, and MS Office. Excellent communication (written & verbal) and prioritization skills with attention to detail. Strong learning agility, strong analytical mindset, high level of motivation, and a strong desire to find creative solutions to challenging situations.
