We are looking for an experienced Embedded Android Multimedia Video Driver developer to join our team at Quest Global. As an Embedded Android Multimedia Video Driver engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating multimedia video drivers for Android-based systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality multimedia video drivers for Android-based systems
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate multimedia video drivers into the Android operating system
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of multimedia video drivers with other system components
  • Debug and troubleshoot multimedia video drivers to ensure optimal performance and stability
Essential Skills:
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills and experience in developing multimedia video drivers
  • Excellent knowledge of Android internals, including framework, services, HAL, and graphics framework
  • Familiarity with Linux kernel and driver architecture
  • Experience with virtual platforms and digital twins is a plus
  • Good debugging skills and ability to work independently
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with Android architecture and AAOS
  • Knowledge of graphics HAL and graphics framework
  • Familiarity with camera HAL and audio/video HAL
  • Experience with vehicle HAL and electronic design skills
