Machine Learning Audio Research Position

This role is a key member of the Advanced Tech R&D team, responsible for developing innovative machine learning algorithms for audio and speech generative models.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Develop cutting-edge machine learning techniques for advanced audio and speech applications.
  • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new solutions into various Qualcomm platforms.
  • - Work closely with commercialization teams to deploy developed solutions onto customer devices.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • R&D Experience:
  • - 2+ years of experience in research and development of audio and speech generative networks, synthesis, restoration, and text-to-speech models.
  • Technical Skills:
  • - Proficiency in designing, implementing, and training deep learning algorithms using high-level languages/frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • - Familiarity with recent trends in machine learning, including diffusion models, U-Nets, Transformers, BERT, and traditional statistical modeling/feature extraction techniques.

Educational Background:

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree:
  • - Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 1+ year of experience.
  • - Doctoral degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
