About the Role:

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our client's emerging team. You will be responsible for building and improving the BNL Data Warehouse offerings using various marketing suites.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in software development and data structures/algorithms
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in Python, JVM, and Shell Scripting with production experience
  • 3 years of proven experience in cloud native data-intensive applications, Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience is a must, and good experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is beneficial
  • Experience in data warehouse design and development per business requirements using modern data warehouses
  • Highly proficient in architecting and implementing workflow management systems using Apache Airflow
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience in building and maintaining Spark applications
  • Understanding of Parquet, Delta Lake, and other OTFs file formats
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), or AWS CloudFormation
  • Experience with observability systems like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Strong experience in building Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Jenkins is beneficial
  • Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback, particularly during code reviews and documentation
  • Focus on business value vs engineering interest
