Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist position involves facilitating the approval of IT procurement projects for clients while ensuring adherence to Group Policies and associated processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in processing activities for Group IT, working closely with vendors and internal clients worldwide.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processing work through defined SLA-based operations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to provide procurement services to Functional/Business stakeholders within the organization.
  • Support sourcing projects, vendor comparison analyses, and onboarding assessments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Procurement analyst, preferably in IT Procurement.
  • Sound knowledge of IT industry procurements and proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Working experience in vendor management, basic accounting practices, and procurement/payment-related tools and processes.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing IT procurement projects from initiation to delivery. This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams, developing and implementing procurement strategies, and negotiating with suppliers. You will also be required to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
