Job Description:

As a Data Scientist at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and deploying end-to-end pipelines to ingest various Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) data into Big Data clusters. Your primary focus will be on designing scalable solutions, improving efficiency, and reliability of existing applications. You will also develop and deploy new features based on business needs, ideate, and improvise on requirements through continuous innovation and application of new techniques and methods. Additionally, you will understand new feature requirements from counterparts, breakdown tasks, and participate in planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecting, developing, and deploying end-to-end pipelines to ingest ADAS systems data into clusters
  • Developing scalable solutions and improving efficiency and reliability of existing applications
  • Developing and deploying new features based on business needs
  • Ideating and improvising on requirements through continuous innovation and application of new techniques and methods
  • Understanding new feature requirements from counterparts, breakdown of tasks, and participation in planning

Requirements:
  • Excellent programming skills in Python with object-oriented design
  • Experience in designing solutions for business applications and deployment of the same
  • Hands-on experience in working with relational SQL and noSQL DB, Postgres, MongoDB, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in developing ETL solutions on Big Data Clusters like MAPR Clusters
  • Hands-on experience in workflow schedulers like Airflow, etc.
  • Good knowledge on microservices is desired
  • Experience with Docker containers is a plus
  • Experience in creation of CI/CD pipeline is an added advantage
  • Working experience on the cloud environment Azure, AWS is an added advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the automotive field and exposure to a multi-cultural environment is an added advantage
