Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical management of vessels, conducting regular inspections, ensuring efficient and safe vessel operations, and managing marine engineering tasks. This role involves coordinating with the crew and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the technical management of vessels to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
  • Manage marine engineering tasks to maintain vessel efficiency and safety
  • C coordinate with the crew to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in ship management and maritime operations
  • Proficiency in conducting inspections and ensuring compliance
  • Expertise in marine engineering
  • A background in sailing and hands-on knowledge of vessel operations
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • A bachelor's degree in marine engineering or a related field is preferred
  • Experience with tanker and gas vessels is a plus
