Job Title: Principal EMV Payments Engineer

We are seeking an exceptional professional to lead the design, development, and certification of secure POS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement EMV standards from international payment schemes.
  • Develop POS applications adhering to these standards.
  • Certification - Lead the development and execution of certification processes with all relevant payment schemes.
  • Ensure PCI DSS compliance for all development.
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of EMV specifications, particularly for L3 certification.
  • Development and maintenance of EMV kernels for contact and contactless transactions.
  • POS Hardware Integration:
    • Understanding of POS hardware peripherals (printers, scanners, card readers).
    • Seamless communication between hardware and software.
    • Integration of hardware peripherals using various communication protocols (USB, Bluetooth, serial).
  • Payment Security:
    • Implementation and management of secure handling of payment data in compliance with PCI DSS.
  • Technical Skills:
    • EMV Standards:
      • In-depth knowledge of EMV specifications and standards (ISO/IEC 7816, ISO 8583).
      • Experience with EMV L3 certification processes.
    • Payment Security:
      • Strong understanding of PCI DSS compliance and secure coding practices.
      • Experience with cryptographic libraries and key management.
    • Programming Languages:
      • Proficiency in C/C++ (essential for EMV kernel development).
    Preferred Skills:
    • FinTech domain knowledge.
    • Agile development methodologies.
    • Testing frameworks and test-driven development.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
