Job Title: Quality Control Engineer

Department: Quality Assurance

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled professional to ensure the highest quality standards in fabrication, welding, and painting activities of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) in line with established procedures and relevant codes/standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and monitor raw materials, fabricated components, and finished structures as per drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks for welding, bolting, cutting, and assembly processes in line with PEB standards.
  • Carry out dimensional inspection of built-up sections, secondary members, and assemblies.
  • Monitor surface preparation, blasting, and painting/coating quality as per required standards.
  • Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and ensure traceability of materials.
  • Coordinate with production, erection, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/IS/ASTM/AISC/MBMA standards and client specifications.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in the quality management system.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with fabrication and erection processes for PEB structures.
  • Solid understanding of welding processes.
  • Knowledge of painting and coating standards.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control in PEB / Steel Structure fabrication industry.
