We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing robust data models, including effective star/snowflake schemas.
  • They will also develop complex DAX calculations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  2. Create and optimize robust data models, including effective star/snowflake schemas.
  3. Develop complex DAX calculations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  4. Integrate data seamlessly from various sources, including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs.
  5. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  6. Perform thorough data validation and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy, reliability, and optimal performance of all reports and dashboards.
  7. Implement row-level security and user-based data access strategies to ensure data confidentiality and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Extensive hands-on Power BI development experience.
  • Advanced DAX and data modeling expertise.
  • Experience with Power Query/M Language.
  • Strong dashboard and visualization design skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Power BI Service and Power BI Report Server.
  • Proficiency in configuring row-level security and gateway configurations.
  • Familiarity with Power BI REST API and embedding techniques.
  • Proficient in writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Strong capabilities in data extraction, transformation, and integration using SQL.
  • Experience with large datasets and performance tuning of Power BI solutions.
