As a Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation that meets the company's writing style guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Define target audience and outline manuals to ensure technically accurate and clear documentation.
- Document new features and maintain existing documentation versions, including user guides, FAQs, and product technical overviews.
- Work closely with Product and Delivery teams to deliver technical documentation with a focus on clarity, completeness, accuracy, and usability.
- Obtain product information from agile meetings, specifications, supplemental material, and discussions with SMEs.
- Participate in peer review processes to improve documentation quality.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of existing documentation processes, standards, checklists, and templates.
- Suggest screen labels and error messages with a focus on improving the customer experience (UX).
The ideal candidate will have excellent English writing skills, knowledge of MSTP, and experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment. Strong research skills, attention to detail, and team player skills are also essential. Additionally, proficiency in Jira, Confluence, MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), and Visio is required.
