The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of experience in budgeting, cost control, financial forecasting, fundraising strategies, and process optimization.

The successful applicant will provide leadership in building financial sustainability, managing risks, and enabling data-driven decision-making aligned with our mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Planning
    • Develop long-term financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Implement fundraising and investment strategies for financial sustainability.
    • Align financial plans with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control
    • Oversee annual budget preparation, monitoring, and management.
    • Implement effective cost control measures to optimize resources.
    • Maintain financial discipline across departments and projects.
  • Process & Services Optimization
    • Streamline financial systems, processes, and reporting mechanisms for efficiency.
    • Introduce automation and digital tools to improve transparency and reduce manual intervention.
    • Drive continuous improvements in financial operations and service delivery.
  • Fund Management & Risk Planning
    • Manage cash flows, investments, and fund utilization for liquidity and sustainability.
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks with strong internal controls.
    • Provide strategies for fund allocation, monitoring, and accountability.
  • Reporting & Compliance
    • Oversee timely MIS reports, board presentations, and donor reports.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.
    • Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders for smooth financial governance.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management
    • Lead, mentor, and build the finance team for high performance.
    • Partner with senior leadership, ministry heads, and operational teams for financial decision-making.
    • Provide financial advice and insights for strategic growth and expansion.
