Leadership Opportunity in Medical Coding

Are you a seasoned medical coder with a passion for leadership? We are seeking an experienced AVP to lead our coding team and drive excellence in medical coding.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-range plans, objectives, and goals to achieve exceptional results in medical coding.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the coding unit, including workload management, staffing, hiring, disciplining, and performance appraisals.
  • Compliance and Quality: Evaluate the impact of innovations and changes in programs, policies, and procedures for the coding unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Design and implement systems and methods to enhance data accessibility and accuracy.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify, assess, and resolve complex problems, preparing administrative reports as needed.
  • Education and Training: Develop educational programs and conduct training sessions on coding compliance, regulatory updates, and best practices.
  • Communication: Ensure timely dissemination of regulatory, policy, and guideline changes to stakeholders.
  • Audit and Monitoring: Conduct and oversee coding audits, monitoring coding accuracy and documentation adequacy.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Any Graduate (preferably from Life Science background)
  • Experience: 17+ years of experience in Multispecialty Coding and substantial team management experience
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams, excellent communication skills, and outstanding organizational skills
