Job Summary

Estarta seeks a highly skilled data center network engineer to support Cisco. This role is best suited for professionals with expertise in Cisco Nexus technologies and ability to design, optimize, and secure large-scale enterprise data centers.

This technical contributor ensures network resiliency, scalability, and operational efficiency in complex environments, driving innovation through automation and modern data center practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage advanced data center networking solutions built on Cisco Nexus platforms (NX-OS, Nexus 5K/7K).
  • Configure and troubleshoot advanced Cisco data center technologies, including virtual port channel, overlay transport virtualization, and fabric path.
  • Ensure continuous availability, security, and performance of data center network infrastructure.
  • Perform capacity planning, proactive monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Leverage automation and scripting to streamline operations, reduce manual intervention, and enhance operational consistency.
  • Contribute to incident management, root cause analysis, and change control processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including network topology, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to align solutions with enterprise standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus platforms (NX-OS, Nexus 5K/7K).
  • In-depth knowledge of vPC, OTV, and FabricPath technologies.
  • Solid understanding of Layer 2/3 networking protocols, data center topologies, and enterprise-class environments.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting or equivalent programming for automation and network optimization.
  • CCIE Data Center/Enterprise certification or extensive real-world experience.
