Murex Automation Expert

Duration: 6+ years of experience in software testing and development.

Candidate must have a deep understanding of Front Office (FO) and Back Office (BO), with a strong focus on Static data. Experience with Fixed Income and Security flow is an added advantage, as well as familiarity with MxTest and CI/CD tools.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for various Murex modules using programming languages like Java or Python.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements and validate system behavior.
  • Implement automation frameworks to ensure reusability, maintainability, and scalability of scripts.
  • Track and log defects, and perform retesting in coordination with development teams.
  • Participate in test planning, test case design, and execution cycles to guarantee successful product launches.
  • Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices to maintain the highest level of quality.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of overall experience in software testing and development.
  • Hands-on experience in Murex automation Tools.
  • Strong understanding of Murex architecture and workflows (FO, BO, Risk, Accounting, and Interfaces).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python, or similar) for automation.
  • Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, or similar).
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for test data validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
