Civil Engineering Expertise

As a leading provider of engineering services, we are seeking a highly skilled Civil & Structural WTG Foundation Design Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with expertise in structural design and renewable energy foundations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing wind turbine generator foundations that ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with international standards. This will involve working closely with our engineering design team to drive cost-effective and sustainable solutions for wind energy projects.

  • Design and Optimization: Utilize software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, and PLAXIS 2D/3D to design and optimize WTG foundations.
  • Structural Load Calculations: Perform calculations to determine gravity, wind, seismic, and fatigue loads on structures.
  • Material Selection: Select and validate construction materials for efficiency and sustainability.
  • Design Basis Reports: Prepare and review design basis reports, bill of quantities (BOQs), drawings, and calculations.
  • Compliance and Certification: Ensure compliance with various international standards, including BIS, ASCE, AISC, Eurocode, and others.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization) or equivalent.
  • A master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the Power and Utilities sector, focusing on renewable energy foundations.
  • Excellent knowledge of civil design codes, software, and technologies.
