Cloud Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud and Network Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud and network infrastructures.

  • The role involves designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53).
  • Configuring and monitoring network architecture including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and routing protocols.
  • Managing hybrid cloud connectivity using Direct Connect, VPN tunnels, and transit gateways.
  • Implementing cloud security best practices (IAM policies, security groups, encryption, and compliance controls).
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning and monitoring using Terraform/CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues across cloud, network, and application layers.
  • Collaborating with DevOps, security, and application teams to optimize infrastructure for scalability and cost-efficiency.
  • Conducting disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and high availability implementations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 25 years of experience in cloud engineering and networking roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ELB).
  • Proficiency in network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls, Routing, Switching).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Understanding of security best practices in AWS and network management.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
