Job Title: Supply Chain Optimisation Leader

About the Role:

This leadership position will oversee the distribution plan from a central warehouse to 20 branch locations across various product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align planning with business objectives, customer channels, and distribution frequency.
  • Ensure product availability for billing across all channels.
  • Develop and monitor inventory holding policies and norms based on network lead times, SKU classification, and channel priorities.
  • Optimise dispatch plans considering FTL loads, promotional priorities, seasonality, and inter-branch transfer reduction.
  • Establish replenishment mechanisms across all inventory nodes.

Preferred Candidate Profile/ Competencies:

  • Supply Chain Planning, Distribution Planning & Inventory Planning
  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel & Advanced Excel
  • Ability to manage complexity of large SKU base and multi-channel distribution.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration (Sales, SCM, Finance, Logistics).
  • Proactive mindset with ability to balance cost, availability, and service levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 2+ years in Supply Chain Planning / Distribution Planning.
  • Preferred industry - Consumer Products / FMCG with experience in product-level distribution across central warehouse and branch warehouses / distribution centres.
