Cyber Security Lead

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage existing cybersecurity tools and identify open-source solutions to detect threat agent actions.
  • Design and implement a proactive security incident response process to mitigate potential threats.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during significant information security incidents and manage incident response plans.
  • Identify and propose key information security initiatives, plans, practices, and tools to the management team.
  • Support approved information security projects, internal/external security audits, application security assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Implement effective communication channels across teams to address emerging information security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Detect and respond to cyber security threats, and implement remediation controls to protect IT infrastructure and data.
  • Perform regular GRC assessments on IT infrastructure and applications, and prepare mitigation plans.
  • Manage security compliance for endpoints, networks, servers, databases, and other critical systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Cyber Security.
  • Strong technical skills in SIEM, IDAM, PIM/PAM, Breach Attack Simulation, Micro Segmentation, and network security principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Hypervisors), vulnerability scanning solutions, and network vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, assist with root cause identification, and adhere to industry standards and best practices.
  • Must have proficient analytical, technical research, and detail-oriented skills.
