Job Title: Data Engineering Leadership

About the Role:

  • Lead and mentor a team of experienced data engineers in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data warehouse systems.
  • Develop and drive the strategic vision for our enterprise data warehousing initiatives, focusing on data architecture, delivery, and modern analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify risks, and provide mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Evaluate code quality, promote best practices, and maintain high-quality documentation.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data engineering, including at least 4 years of leadership roles.
  • Strong expertise in Python, JVM, shell scripting, and cloud-native applications.
  • Proficiency in Databricks, dbt, Airflow, Spark, file formats (Parquet, Delta Lake), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in unit testing, test automation frameworks, and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
