Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Costing Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various costing activities, including sanity checks and the production of timely, accurate, and relevant cost data and analysis.

  • This includes monitoring a common mailbox for customer requests and contributing to issue resolution and answering questions related to the assigned focus area on a daily basis during PEC & TP activities.
  • Maintaining Costing Master Data (Cost Center, Material Master Data, and Assessments).
  • Performing Costing-related and Pre-PEC Health Checks.
  • Performing activities for actual cost calculation during monthly PEC.
  • Performing all necessary health checks and reconciliation to ensure the quality of data provided within agreed timelines.
  • Executing Budget and DF activities, ensuring accurate information.
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly reports.
  • Monitoring the application of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and indicators of services (KPIs); analyzing and sharing periodic reports.
  • Participating in the design of process flows at the company level and identifying continuous improvement and internal control points.
  • Performing Ad Hoc projects related to the Costing function (e.g., new plants).
  • Performing Ad Hoc cost analyses for business/functional controllers' needs.
  • Participating in the implementation of new Costing functionalities, tools, and solutions (e.g., PCM).
  • Performing financial simulations, product costing & estimates, and CAPEX evaluations as required, ensuring full transparency of costs.
  • Coordinating and providing inputs for budgeting, capacity runs, planning, and dynamic forecasting. This requires continuous involvement and awareness of the current situation to discern feasibility of inputs.
  • Active participation in Standard Cost Budget, Revision, and Replacement Cost calculations as required.
  • FOLLOWING COSTING GUIDELINES AND ASSOCIATED STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES WHEN GENERATING FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS AND PERFORMING DAILY ACTIVITIES.
  • Performing routine audit activities within the factory to ensure compliance on critical areas (e.g., stock taking). Appropriately escalating business risks.
  • Preparing and publishing financial KPI data on a regular basis; performing analysis of KPI data and transferring this knowledge of key figures to the relevant stakeholders to promote understanding.
