IT Director

Airtel seeks a highly skilled IT Director to lead our team in optimizing performance and driving operational excellence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing system performance, providing recommendations to improve efficiency from an operational standpoint. This role involves proactively supporting the IT team in resolving escalated issues, collaborating with external vendors to acquire services, and developing best practice policies and procedures for the IT department.

• Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement
• Proactively support the IT team in resolving escalated issues and problems raised by technicians and support agents
• Collaborate with external vendors to acquire contracts for services such as development platforms and software licenses
• Develop, implement, and enforce best practice policies and procedures for the IT department
• Direct technological operations by studying organizational practices and goals
• Ensure compliance with internal organization standards for sustained quality of service
• Communicate operating policies and issues at department meetings
• Assess system data and error logs to determine areas for improvement or repair
• Direct IT technicians to support end users and assist with upgrades and directives
• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Manage and supervise the workforce, including task allocation, setting deadlines, and monitoring performance
• Manage strategic partnerships with suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with company needs and demands
