As a data professional, you will be responsible for building insightful reports that transform assessment data into actionable intelligence. Working with data from various sources, you'll create visualizations that bring clarity to complex results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand business needs and design solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop architecture, design, and implement warehouse and reporting solutions.
  • Extract data from applications and third-party products.
  • Consolidate multiple data sources into a data warehouse or lake.
  • Ensure data is accessible and structured to facilitate reporting needs.
  • Set up dashboards and reports in data visualization tools.
  • Build resilient, reliable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Stay ahead of issues with proactive monitoring and alerting.
  • Implement best practices.
  • Collaborate as part of an agile team to design, develop, and maintain software.
  • Work with product management to prioritize and plan necessary technical debt remediation and refactoring of data structures and stored procedures.
  • Design and implement repeatable data pull requests and execute ad-hoc requests as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or work experience.
  • 10+ years of strong experience with SQL Servers and relational databases.
  • Strong experience querying and optimizing complex data sets.
  • Strong experience creating and optimizing complex stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • End-to-end knowledge from product databases to information visualization.
  • Experience in Azure cloud technologies, including ADF, Functions, DLS, Synapse, etc.
  • Experience in relational database design and architecture.
  • Expert in data visualization and reporting, including Power BI.
  • Understanding of OLAP structures (single-layer DW / Kimball).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to self-organize, prioritize, and track tasks.
  • Can work on their own or in a team.
  • Teamwork and collaboration – be willing to share your thoughts and seek ideas and feedback from others in return.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with SSIS, AD,F or other ETL tools.
  • Experience with .NET is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure is a plus.
  • Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
  • Experience in AWS cloud data technologies is beneficial.
