Strategic Financial Advisor

We seek an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our investment team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing financial data, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of investment opportunities across asset classes, including equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate, and alternative investments.
  • Create and maintain complex financial models for valuation, forecasting, sensitivity, and scenario planning.
  • Develop detailed investment memos and presentations for management and the investment committee.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance, key metrics, and market trends.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation initiatives.
  • Analyze actual vs. forecasted results and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist in due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate finance transactions.
  • Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on financial modeling and analysis best practices.
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation, and implementation of analytical tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred).
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, investment research, or corporate finance, preferably in an investment company, asset management, or private equity environment.
  • Strong knowledge of valuation techniques, including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar financial databases is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
