Cloud Architect Advisory Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis professional to elevate their career by shaping next-gen SAP landscapes on the RISE platform.

About the Opportunity

This is a strategic role that offers access to all SAP internal training and learning resources, exposure to cutting-edge SAP products, and opportunities to work across diverse industries and landscapes.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Presentation of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition service offerings and value proposition to customers.
  2. Support and organization of technical responses to RFP / RFI's.
  3. Blueprint customer requirements around HA/DR, Business Continuity, Security & Compliance, networks, etc.
  4. Generation of pricing and provision of ongoing deal support to sales teams.
  5. Technical discussions with the customer on the Private Cloud Edition topic and act as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the Cloud Architecture & Advisory organization as required.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration required from an accredited university.
  • Good understanding of SAP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.).
  • Good understanding of the entire platform stacks (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks, etc.).
  • Good understanding of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.
  • Good understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform.
  • English native speaker, any other language an asset.

Experience

  • 7-12 years of hands-on customer-facing SAP Technology Consulting and/or Presales experience.
  • Experience with hosting providers and data centres is a BIG advantage; HANA / Suite on HANA skills would be very helpful, but not mandatory.
  • Experience working for an enterprise software and/or services vendor is necessary.
