As a seasoned Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using industry-leading Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-performance data pipelines and ETL processes leveraging GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Data Fusion, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer, Cloud Function, and Cloud Run.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to understand complex data requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
  • Implement comprehensive data integration solutions to ingest, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
  • Optimize and fine-tune data pipelines for maximum efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
  • Design and maintain robust data models, schemas, and metadata to support advanced analytics and reporting.
  • Proactively monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to critical workflows.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on GCP services.
  • Proficiency in Python and PL/SQL programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
