Job Title

A Game Design and Animation Coordinator/Faculty role has become available in a School of Architecture and Design, offering students a Bachelor of Design (Game Design & Animation) program. The ideal candidate will have expertise in game development, animation, and interactive media, with proficiency in visual storytelling and technical skills including programming.

About the Role:

This is an opportunity for a seasoned academic or industry professional to lead and manage a B.Des. Game Design & Animation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating curriculum delivery, planning, and quality assurance, as well as developing and teaching core courses in game design, animation, and interactive programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curriculum plans and assess student progress
  • Teach and mentor students in game development projects and industry-linked internships
  • Integrate programming modules (game logic, interactivity, AI) into course content
  • Organize events such as game jams, showcases, and co-curricular industry events

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Game Design, Animation, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant academic or industry experience
  • Strong portfolio of game/interactive projects and/or published work
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
