Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Product Development Director to lead our engineering team in delivering cutting-edge products that drive customer success.


Key Responsibilities
  • Own and lead a significant technology product from inception to launch, working closely with your team to develop best-in-class solutions.
  • Collaborate with our product and design teams to build products that delight customers and increase their success in an iterative fashion.
  • Architect, build, test, and release features with the highest quality, engaging with engineers to identify and improve team, product, and engineering quality.
  • Contribute to the hiring process, identifying and recruiting top talent worldwide for your team and the broader engineering team.
  • Help shape the engineering and team culture by guiding and motivating your reports, fostering career growth at Multiplier.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 10+ years of industry experience in software engineering, including 2+ years as an engineering leader managing a team to deliver sizeable products.
  • Experience in leading product teams and building SaaS products, with a proven track record of significant impact on both products and teams.
  • Deep knowledge of high-level programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Go, Python) and ability to learn our specific technologies quickly.
  • Good understanding of web fundamentals (JavaScript/HTML/CSS) and exposure to one or more Front End stacks (e.g., React, VueJS, Svelte, Angular).
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure on AWS, Google Cloud, and scalable distributed systems.
  • Very good understanding and experience with agile approaches to building and delivering software, including automated delivery practices.
  • Extremely data-driven decision-making approach and ability to solve complex problems effectively.
  • Experience in the overall hiring process of engineering talent and taking on challenging goals in this area.
