Job Description:

Senior analysts play a crucial role in supporting clients across the energy sector value chain. Our team works closely with power distribution utilities to address regulatory matters, including petition filing and compliance.

The role involves conducting various studies, such as cost-of-service studies, and analyzing orders issued by the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC). This includes assessing the approval of costs versus claims and presenting rationales for disallowance.

Additionally, senior analysts assist in business plan preparation, provide inputs on draft regulations, and analyze the impact of regulatory developments on finances and operations.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in handling regulatory matters within the electricity distribution sector
  • Familiarity with distribution schemes in the energy industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
