We're seeking a seasoned Senior Frontend Architect to spearhead the development of HappyFox's product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the implementation of features and improvements, leading a team of engineers on our product roadmap.
  • Oversee software architecture, Git workflows, CI/CD processes, and perform code reviews to ensure exceptional code quality.
  • Identify, minimize, and manage technical debt in the codebase.
  • Enhance the development experience and the quality of the codebase.
  • Establish internal standards for coding style, maintainability, and best practices for a large-scale web application.
  • Uphold coding standards through code review and technical feedback.
  • Take responsibility for key technical architecture and design decisions.
  • Ensure the stability and performance of the services you work on.
  • Contribute to the strategic vision and long-term roadmap in your area of expertise.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical lead role designing and building single-page web applications.
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in building web applications with JavaScript frameworks like Ember.js or React.js.
  • Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building single-page apps and a good understanding of best practices and coding patterns.
  • A passion for troubleshooting and figuring out solutions to complex technical problems.
  • A desire to continuously improve and ship high-quality products.
  • A pragmatic approach to ensure technical decisions align with business needs.
  • A good understanding of trade-offs when building for product value, reliability, or performance.
  • Excellent communication skills to discuss and explain technical points clearly and effectively.
