Senior Data Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Developer to join our team. This is a key role in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines that support the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain complex data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark and Python.
  • Collaborate with analytics and business teams to identify opportunities for improving data models and increase data accessibility.
  • Implement data quality processes to ensure accurate and available production data.
  • Write unit tests, contribute to engineering documentation and document work.
  • Analyze data to troubleshoot issues and assist in resolving data problems.
  • Work closely with frontend and backend engineers, product managers and analysts to design data integrations and data quality frameworks.
  • Define company data assets, spark, sparkSQL and hiveSQL jobs to populate data models.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Python programming language and knowledge of data processing frameworks such as Pyspark.
  • Excellent understanding of data modeling, data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.

  • Knowledge of GCP/any cloud architecture.
  • Experience with data visualization tools.
