We are currently seeking an experienced Data Engineering Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and PySpark. They will also be proficient in optimizing and transforming datasets using Spark-based processing, integrating and orchestrating workflows across Azure services using Logic Apps and ADF pipelines, and writing efficient SQL queries to handle large datasets and support reporting/analytics needs.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable data architectures using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks
  • Optimizing data processing workflows using Spark-based processing and Azure Databricks
  • Ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance with data governance policies
  • Documenting architecture, pipelines, and ETL/ELT processes for knowledge sharing and maintenance

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Azure Data Engineering
  • Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks
  • Solid command of PySpark for big data processing
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working in agile development environments

A good understanding of Python for data transformation or automation is also desirable, as is experience with Logic Apps for workflow integration.
