Sr Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Sr Network Engineer to join our organization. As a Sr Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network infrastructure, supporting WAN, LAN, WLAN on a multi-vendor network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement the customer's complex network infrastructure, ensuring high-quality services/solutions are delivered.
  • Documentation and Change Management: Create and maintain documentation for the implementation of the customer's network, including change approval processes.
  • Technical Support and Coaching: Support and coach other engineers in the team at a technical level to provide high-quality services/solutions.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and assist in defining the strategy needed to enable delivery of complex projects, manage deliverables on complex customer design and implementation projects.
  • Incident Management: Perform advanced analysis on any complex incidents and act as escalation engineer for internal organizations and clients.
  • Process Development: Create processes for other engineers to follow in order for them to successfully deliver solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and own projects and a small team of engineers, drive projects to a successful conclusion.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Two or more technical certifications at associate or professional levels related to VZ Product portfolio areas, including Juniper JNCIP or JNCIE level with focus on WAN, LAN, WLAN.
  • Technical Skills: Technical knowledge and experience with Aruba Central, Aruba switches, and Aruba WLAN highly beneficial, as well as technical knowledge and experience with Mist dashboard and WLAN is also highly beneficial.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent English communication skills both written and verbal, and comprehension are absolutely essential.
  • Experience: 8 or more years' technical experience in design and implementation of large-scale customer networks, experience within telecommunication organisation/international companies would be beneficial.
  • Affinity: Experience and affinity with working in a multi-cultural work environment, affinity with working in an international company, with international customers, taking into account various time-zones.
