Graphic Designer Job Description

**About Vida XL India**

We are a dynamic team of experts in the field of graphic design, and we are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our ranks. As a Graphic Designer at Vida XL India, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs that meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.

**Estimated Salary:** ₹35,000 - ₹50,000 per month (dependent on experience)

Job Overview

The Graphic Designer will play an integral role in our Design Operational Team, working closely with clients and team members to deliver designs that exceed their expectations. Your primary responsibility will be to provide vital support to our Graphic Design Core Team by assisting with the localization and resizing of banners, logotypes, and various other creative content.

You will be required to work with templates, style guidelines, and brand books to craft engaging webshop banners, eye-catching flyers, and other digital creatives. Additionally, you will excel at taking instructions and guidance from more senior designers and possess a well-established expertise in utilizing Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe software tools.

Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Developing and designing content for both print and digital platforms, including advertisements, marketing materials, and social media graphics.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with clients or team members to understand their needs and deliver designs that align with their vision.
  • Adherence to Design Standards: Ensuring that designs meet established standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Adaptation and Localization: Resizing, adapting, and localizing designs for different platforms, languages, or cultural contexts.
  • Problem Solving: Identifying design challenges and providing creative solutions to address them effectively.
  • Deadline Management: Meeting project deadlines and managing time effectively to deliver high-quality work within stipulated timeframes.
  • Continuous Learning and Improvement: Staying updated on industry trends, software advancements, and design techniques to enhance skills and deliver innovative and contemporary designs.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Graphic design, Multimedia design, or +2 years' experience in a comparable field, and an online portfolio to show for it.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and creative projects.
  • An excellent working knowledge of Adobe CC: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Knowledge in more of the Adobe CC software is a plus (such as Flash or After effects).
  • An understanding of design principles: Knowledge of graphic design fundamentals, including colour, layout, typography, shape, branding.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while still being open-minded and not losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Strong communication skills and time-management skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and work with new systems and software.
  • Experience working with a style guide.
  • Knowledge with Atlassian tools are a plus (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Fluency and working proficiency in English is a must (knowledge of other languages is beneficial);
