Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description:

  • We are looking for an experienced software quality assurance professional to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with testing in modern cloud and CI/CD environments.
  • This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, takes ownership, and thrives in agile teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end manual testing across web, API, and backend services.
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and business analysts to ensure requirements are testable and delivered with high quality.
  • Use Postman and other testing tools for API testing.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data.
  • Support testing across Azure, Kubernetes, and GCP cloud environments.
  • Work with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
  • Actively participate in Scrum/Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Take ownership, commitment, and accountability for deliverables.
  • Learn quickly and adapt to evolving technologies and project needs.
  • Exposure to automation testing using BDD (Cucumber).

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Manual testing expertise with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic programming knowledge for understanding code and debugging.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms: Azure, Kubernetes, GCP.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control using GitHub.
  • Experience with testing tools (e.g., Postman).
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodology and collaborative team environments.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to quality.
