Civil and Structural Design Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Civil and Structural Designer to join our team at Pragati Engineering Management Services - India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing design and drawings as per codes and standards followed in the oil and gas industry.

  • Engineering Design Preparation: Prepare engineering design and documents and confirm specifications.
  • Construction Project Design: Design construction projects by studying project concept, architectural drawings, and models.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Prepare engineering design by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs, and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and related topographical and geologic data.
  • Project Costing: Determine project costs by calculating labour, material, and related costs.
  • Feasibility Study: Create a feasibility study by analysing engineering design, conducting environmental impact studies, and assembling data.
  • Detailed Engineering Documents: Produce Detailed engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules.
  • Construction Site Monitoring: Confirm adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress, inspecting the construction site, and verifying calculations and placements.
  • Client and Contractor Coordination: Coordinate with clients and contractors for technical queries.
  • Legal Compliance: Comply with state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
