As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient production planning and control processes in SAP PPDS.
You will analyze business requirements, identify process gaps, and develop solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Process Design: Develop and implement process designs for production planning and control in S4 HANA PPDS and PP.
- Heuristics and Optimizer: Configure and optimize PPDS heuristics, setup profile, and objective functions (Setup time, Setup cost, Delay, Makespan, Total delay) to achieve optimal results.
- Configuration and Planning: Configure DS planning board, product planning table, and setup based planning at various levels in FG and SFG's.
- Monitoring and Analysis: Design and configure plan monitor, alert monitor, and detailed scheduling board to analyze planning results using Product/Receipts/Requirement view (//RRP1, //RRP3, //RRP4), Resource utilization report, etc.
- SAP Certified APO: Mandatory certification in APO is required.
- Communication Skills: Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Planning and Optimization: Strong knowledge of planning algorithms (CTM, optimizer & heuristics) and ability to integrate with PP and PPDS.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
