About this strategic leadership role:

You will be a key partner for senior executives in Fortune 500-type organizations, helping address their research and insights needs. As the director of Food & Nutrition, you will lead consulting projects in this area, defining initiatives that drive client acquisition and retention.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of business growth and sustainability by building and executing a strategy to meet annual targets, in collaboration with your Vice President.
  • Strategize and drive business development with sales/BD colleagues or independently.
  • Identify and execute initiatives enhancing clients' engagement and delivering satisfaction.
  • Lead your team to leverage marketing capabilities, build a distinct brand, target prospects, and drive outreach programs.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead/hire/build/train/mentor a team of Consultants and Research Specialists offering techno-commercial research & advisory services in the food & nutrition domain.
  • Set process mechanisms to ensure successful execution of programs and tasks; oversee strategic engagements/large RFPs/key accounts.

Qualifications, Experience, and Educational Requirements:

  • A Science/Engineering educational background preferred (M.S/PhD) ideally in fields relevant to the Food & Nutrition industry.
  • 15+ years of experience in consulting/custom research & advisory, direct experience in building similar research projects.
  • Demonstrate strong grasp of technology issues, innovation frontiers, and business dynamics in the Food & Nutrition sector.
