We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Lawyer to join our team at Juris Prime Law Services in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive tax advisory services, manage complex tax litigation, and represent clients before various courts and tax authorities.

This role requires a deep understanding of direct and indirect tax laws, exceptional legal acumen, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Tax Advisory:
    • Provide strategic advice on tax planning, structuring, and compliance for corporate and individual clients.
    • Assist clients with tax-efficient business models, mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
    • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and policies to provide proactive solutions.
  • Litigation & Representation:
    • Draft and review pleadings, petitions, appeals, and other legal documents for tax disputes.
    • As required, represent clients before appellate tribunals, high courts, and the Supreme Court.
    • Handle matters before tax authorities, including assessments, audits, and inquiries.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to all applicable tax laws and regulations.
    • Provide support in responding to tax notices and assessments.
    • Collaborate with regulatory bodies and government agencies on behalf of clients.
  • Client Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Offer solutions tailored to the client's business and financial goals.
    • Act as a trusted advisor on all tax-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from a reputable university.
    • Additional qualifications such as CA are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience:
    • 5–10 years of experience in taxation law, with significant exposure to both advisory and litigation work.
    • Proven track record of handling high-stakes tax litigation and appearing before courts.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws, including direct taxes (Income Tax, etc.) and indirect taxes (GST, Customs, etc.).
    • Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
    • Strong oral and written advocacy skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Attributes:
    • Familiarity with international taxation laws and treaties is a plus.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to client service.

Salary: ₹25-35 lakhs per annum, depending on experience.
