We are currently seeking a seasoned professional to assume the position of Vacuum Furnace Design Lead. In this capacity, you will be responsible for spearheading design efforts and ensuring that projects are executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design process for vacuum furnaces, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize project outcomes
  • Develop and implement effective technical solutions, aligning with customer specifications and company goals
  • Collaborate with sales teams to size and cost technical offers, ensuring timely delivery and seamless execution
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and trends, applying insights to inform design decisions and drive innovation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Design
  • Proven expertise in designing and analyzing mechanical and electrical structures, low- and high-vacuum systems
  • Strong understanding of high-pressure vessel, high-temperature hot zone, and heating element design principles
  • Familiarity with heat treatment processes, such as brazing, carburizing, hardening, annealing, and melting
  • Hands-on experience with 2D and 3D CAD software, including AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating complex ideas and collaborating on projects
