Apparel Production Manager

We are seeking a professional with strong analytical skills to manage our contract manufacturing vendors effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of cost optimization and quality control in the fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce production costs without compromising quality or brand integrity.
  • Manage sourcing budgets effectively, monitoring expenditures and ensuring adherence to financial targets.
  • Coordinate closely with vendors to ensure timely production, shipping, and delivery of garments while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure timely delivery of garments.
  • Monitor and address any quality issues or deviations throughout the production process, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Identify and onboard potential contract manufacturing partners capable of producing high-quality apparel garments.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors to foster long-term partnerships based on trust, transparency, and mutual benefit.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualification & Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience managing contract manufacturing vendors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
  • Strong negotiation and partnership-building skills.
  • Solid project management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of garment production, quality standards, and supply chain.
  • Leadership skills with team and cross-functional management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and stay positive.
