We are seeking a highly skilled Indirect Tax Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GST, Customs, and other indirect tax laws.

  • Provide expert guidance to clients on indirect tax matters, including responses to department inquiries, investigations, and audits.
  • Prepare high-quality replies to show cause notices and audit responses, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain effective relationships with tax officers, representing clients in hearings as required.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive tax appeals strategies for the Joint Commissioner (Appeals) and Court (Tribunal, High Court / Supreme Court).
  • Support senior colleagues in representation before various judicial forums, providing valuable insights and expertise.
  • Cultivate in-depth knowledge of various topics through research and analysis.
"]Client Service Delivery/Execution:"]
  • Proactively identify and discuss technical issues with clients, considering firm risk issues and providing actionable advice.
  • Manage tax matters involving submissions, notice replies, appeals, meetings with tax authorities, and senior-assisted appeals, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with middle layers of client management, delivering exceptional service and value.

  • Stay up-to-date with firm-wide and competitor activities, as well as general business trends, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Apply knowledge to deliver innovative solutions to clients, adding significant value to their experience.
  • Nurture internal and external networks to identify new opportunities for existing clients, communicating effectively with seniors.

  • Stay current with the latest developments in tax and other laws, incorporating new information into practice.
