About the Role

The Chemical Laboratory Specialist is responsible for performing testing of samples in day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe working environment with zero accidents, and adhering to established standard maintenance procedures and JLA (Job Loss Analysis).

  • Perform QC analysis of products and raw material samples according to ExxonMobil Process and Standard, ASTM, and other approved test methods.
  • Update test data into the QALIMS for generation of reports and batch release.
  • Inspect Certificate of Analysis (COA) for incoming raw materials.

This role requires a strong background in laboratory operations, specifically in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience and a degree in Chemical Process Technology or Chemistry.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical plans, maternity leave, life insurance, retirement benefits, annual vacations, and training programs.

Responsibilities

The Chemical Laboratory Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring safe working practices and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Performing regular equipment calibration and maintenance activities.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting of instruments in out-of-control situations.
  • Participating in Brand Approval support roles and testing of samples from Zone affiliates.
