Role Overview:

We seek a skilled and motivated Platform Devops Engineer to join our team. This role will involve hands-on work on public cloud platforms, leveraging various PaaS and marketplace services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and security. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud services and resources.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, including foundational services such as Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines, Storage, Load Balancer, Azure Active Directory, App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Service Bus, Application Gateway, Azure Redis Cache, Cosmos DB, etc.

They will also be experienced in developing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD /Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.

The candidate should have knowledge of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks.

Additionally, they should have experience working with AKS clusters for container orchestration and management, and implementing best practices for deploying and scaling containerized applications.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal skills to present within the business and across all mediums.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years minimum experience in Enterprise IT Environments with at least 2 years of solid hands-on experience one or more of the following: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Strong Kubernetes knowledge and hands-on working experience
  • Strong IAC Code Experience (Terraform or Pulumi)
  • Strong Experience in Python or Golang
  • Hands-on experience with implementing Cloud marketplace services and technologies
  • Knowledge of networking and internet protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks.
